I made these meatballs one night for dinner and it was a big hit with my family. It does take some time to make it but it is always a fun time when cooking.
Ingredients for meatballs:
1 1/2 pounds ground beef, 3/4 cup bread crumbs, 1/2 cup grated parmesan, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, 5 tablespoons parsley, minced, 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons garlic, minced, 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons milk, 1 teaspoon ground pepper, and 1/2 cup oil, for frying.
Ingredients for sauce:
2 tablespoons garlic, 1/2 cup onion diced, 28 ounce tomato sauce, 2 tablespoons parsley, minced, 1/2 cup can tomato paste, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, and 1/2 cup sriracha (optional).
First, mix all of the ingredients for the meatballs into a large bowl. Split it into smaller balls and refrigerate for an hour. Second, heat the oil in a skillet and fry them until golden brown. Take them out and place it into a bowl to prepare them for the sauce. Mix up all the ingredients for the sauce, dip the meatballs in it and place on a serving plate. Voila you're done, I had added some sriracha next to it for an extra kick.
